Jean-Paul Estievenart

In a career spanning 15 years, Jean-Paul has shared stages with international jazz luminaries such as Enrico Pieranuzzi, Nathalie Loriers, Avishai Cohen (trumpet), Logan Richardson, and more. He's a prominent member of Belgian bands like Antoine Pierre URBEX, Alex Koo Quartet, and Mik Maak, among others. With over 40 albums to his name, he's the most sought after trumpet player in Belgium. Estiévenart's musical journey began in his hometown fanfare, following his grandfather's footsteps. Studying at the Academy of Saint-Ghislain introduced him to jazz, igniting a passion he pursued in Brussels since 2004, becoming a key figure in Belgian jazz.

There are those who arrive on the scene fully-formed,

immediately claiming their own bright corner in a universe of possibilities, Thelonious Monk being the chief example among them (even though it took a while before everybody realised it). And then there are those whose potential and personality can be felt from the outset, but who consider their trajectory a laboratory of possibilities. Not to suggest that they start humbly and slowly become better at their jobs, but some keep enriching and refining their position with each new step. Bram De Looze is certainly one of those musicians, always on the lookout for new options, detours and possibilities to expand his art.

Cyrille Obermüller

An increasingly resounding name in the Belgian jazz scene. He studied at the conservatories of The Hague, Brussels, the Lemmens Institute in Leuven and graduated from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp with Bo Van Der Werf. Cyrille is active as a double bass player and live and studio sound engineer and he’s also the founder of La Conserve, Center for jazz and improvised music and Studio La Conserve. We know him from projects such as HAST, Bruno Vansina Quintet, Bo Van Der Werf 'Mantra Magnets', Karel Cuelenaere Trio, Nabou Claerhout Trombone Ensemble, Ingi Bjarni Skulason Trio, Ping O.D. and collaborations with Mark Guiliana, Jakob Bro, Robin Eubanks, John O’gallagher.
